Today’s song is another one of those very special songs to me. Whenever I hear this song, I get goosebumps.
I don’t really have much to say regarding this choice, only what I’ve said already.

SOTD ~ lostprophets – Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)
My reason for this song is simple. I am a lostprophets FAN! The first time I got introduced to them was when my best friend came back from England and he gave me their second studio album, Start Something to listen to. I can tell you this, it was the only album I listened to for weeks!
So why am I not picking a song off of Start Something? Well, it is because Rooftops is one of my very favorite songs of all time from them.

SOTD ~ OneRepublic – Secrets
OneRepublic….what can I really say about them? They.Are.Awesome! This song is very special to me. The first time I heard it was in Nicolas Cages’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. It gave me goosebumps and forgetting it won’t be easy. In fact, every time I hear it on radio or in my music player I get the chills and it also reminds me of the movie.

SOTD ~ Justin Timberlake – Cry Me A River
This song, Cry Me A River from the album Justified, was released in 2002. I was 18 at the time. I heard it today and it reminded me of high school. It wasn’t the best time of my life. Surely not a time I miss.
I grew up with Justin Timberlake being huge on the radio and the fact that he’s not making much music lately is kind of sad. I am a fan, always have been and always will be. I must say, I didn’t like *NSYNC, to me they were sort of a copy-cat band to The Backstreet Boys or vice versa. That’s my opinion anyway! I listened to both these boy bands, but not religiously!
They say good things comes to those who wait, perhaps we should wait some more for Justin, who knows? Maybe when he’s back in studio, he will blow us away!
